Player Intelligence

An honest read on every player.

One player, one universal KR scale, read through his club's actual scheme at a stated confidence.

Case 01 · the number opens

A KR you can open until you hit the evidence.

Every other system hands you a rating and stops. This one presses, down to the trait and the tier of data behind it. A composite attacking midfielder, read through his club's real scheme. Press a cluster to open its traits.

The OVERALL is 83.4, and every layer under it is legible: strong on the ball, ordinary out of possession, honest about which reads are measured and which are reasoned. You are never asked to trust a number you cannot open. A rating you can press to the evidence is a rating you can argue with, which is the only kind worth having.

Case 02 · the coverage gradient is the confidence story

Same scale, same number, different confidence.

One scale covers the whole pyramid, so a Premier League player and a third-tier player sit on the same KR. The honest difference is not a different number. It is how much of each read is measured versus reasoned, shown as the width of the band. Two composite players, both KR 78.

Premier League · StatsBomb 360
78
at 88% confidence
tight band: 76 to 80
Mostly MEASURED: goals, xG, xA, progressive passes and carries, pressures, OBV all come straight off event and tracking data. Little is left to inference.
Third tier / overseas · basic data
78
at 54% confidence
wide band: 71 to 85
Mostly INFERRED: without tracking, off-ball movement, positioning, and decision quality are reasoned from thin event data and scout video. The number is the same; the certainty is not.

Both read 78, and treating them as identical bets would be a lie. The Premier League 78 is nearly locked; the third-tier 78 is a wide claim one good scouting trip could move seven points either way. That gradient is carried as confidence, so the level lives in the band, not in a fudged number. One scale is only honest if the uncertainty rides with it.

Case 03 · the real number is locked, the what-ifs are views

One OVERALL, read through his actual scheme.

There is no scheme-agnostic identity number, because production is always read through a scheme. The OVERALL is fixed to the club he actually plays for. The Scheme Explorer re-prices him for any other scheme on demand, and his ceiling is a separate on-demand read, never a number sitting next to the OVERALL competing for attention.

Ask for the ceiling and the engine returns his best-case scheme fit across every formation and style, with the labels that produced it: KR 86 in a 4-3-3 positional, high press. Surfaced only on request, so it never masquerades as the real number.

Move him to a direct 4-2-3-1 in a mid block and his creation is worth less while his defensive load eases, so the fit pair shifts, but the locked OVERALL never moves. His ceiling is a real 86 in his best scheme, offered only when asked for, never inflated into the headline. The default output is the true one: what he is, where he actually plays. Believable over impressive. A real 79 percent beats a manufactured 95.

Illustrative engine read on the real locked-OVERALL, Scheme Explorer, and on-demand ceiling structure (scheme = formation by style; Off Fit and Def Fit as a pair). Composite player, demonstration figures.

The law underneath
Believable over impressive.

A manufactured 95 fails the first time reality tests it; a real 79 survives.
